Intern Role and Competition Job Description

As a Tech Career Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of young individuals in Lagos State by providing them with the
opportunity to embark on a transformative tech career journey. Through your guidance and support, these aspiring animation
enthusiasts will receive free 6-month training and mentorship, setting them on a path to becoming certified interns in the animation industry.

– Community Engagement: Engage with local schools, educational institutions, and community centers to promote the Animation Hub
initiative and encourage enrollment.

– Training and Facilitation: Undergo a comprehensive 3-month training program to become a skilled animation educator. After training,
you will conduct animation training sessions in your assigned Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) for a period of 6 months.

– Enrollment of Schools: Enroll a minimum of 4 schools (3 Private & 1 Government within your community onto the Animation Hub platform. These schools will be your primary assignment for training and mentorship. Upon the completion of each school onboarding on the Animation Hub platform, a comprehensive database of the children in the total number of children in each school will be enlisted under each intern’s platform.
The children’s scorecards and growth will be used to measure each intern’s impact on their community. This measurement forms the
competition model and requirement for the program.

– Curriculum Delivery: Implement the structured tech curriculum provided by Animation Hub, ensuring students receive high-quality
training in various animation.

– Mentorship: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to students as they navigate their animation learning journey, helping them
overcome challenges and fostering their passion for technology.

– Progress Tracking: Monitor and assess students’ progress throughout the training period, identifying areas for improvement and tailoring instruction as needed.

– Passion for technology and a strong desire to empower young individuals with valuable animation skills.

– Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively teach and engage with students.
– Willingness to learn and adapt to new teaching methodologies and animation trends.
– Ability to work collaboratively within a team of mentors and trainers.

Key Metrics:
– School Enrollments: Successfully enroll a minimum of 4 schools ( 3 Private & 1 Government ) within your community onto the Animation Hub platform.

– Student Completion: Ensure that all enrolled students complete the 6-month training program and achieve the required proficiency levels in animation skills.

– Training Impact: Measure the progress and impact of your training through regular assessments, student feedback, and improvement in their animation skills.

– Mentorship Quality: Provide effective mentorship and support to students, as reflected in positive feedback and improvements in their
confidence and understanding of technology.

– Community Engagement: Actively engage with local educational institutions, community centers, and relevant stakeholders to promote the Animation Hub initiative.
